LISTEN
“Just Plain Meyer” was written for Terry Gibbs' first big band album in 1959. Terry had one of the great bands of the era – with Mel Lewis on drums. There are solos for vibes and tenor sax, though you can open it up for anything you want (you'll hear how they do it on the record).
It was recorded by Terry's band on Flying Home and is released on CD.
